Sinopse

Os mortos-vivos dominaram a Terra, e apenas um pequeno número de humanos conseguiu resistir. Estes sobreviventes, entre eles soldados e cientistas, se refugiaram em um abrigo militar subterrâneo, mas a situação está cada vez mais crítica: o estoque de alimentos está baixando, e a munição e os medicamentos estão cada vez mais escassos. A sobrevivência dos humanos só poderá ser garantida se este grupo chegar até um local inacessível, descobrir como combater os mortos-vivos e enviá-los de volta para suas sepulturas. Uma das últimas esperanças pode estar nas pesquisas realizadas pelo excêntrico Doutor Logan, mas a tensão e o desespero entre os humanos crescem cada vez mais, e eles se entregam a uma terrível batalha pela vida. O resultado é o mais negro dos dias de horror que o mundo já conheceu.
